Why MSME's Role Matters in God's Plan

What if the real hope for the Philippines does not begin in politics but in stewardship?

As entrepreneurs, workers, and ordinary citizens, it is easy to become frustrated with the way things are run. We see wasted potential, endless political drama, and policies that make it harder instead of easier for MSMEs to grow.

But perhaps our role is not to carry the burden of controlling everything.

Perhaps our role is to faithfully do the work our Master assigned to us.

Because according to God’s Word, all authority is temporary stewardship. No leader truly owns power. No official truly owns a position. They are caretakers entrusted with responsibility by the true Owner.

And one day, the Owner will ask for an accounting. What a shuddering thought.

Not because God does not see what is happening, but because He does. Patiently. Completely. Perfectly.

This is why our hope is not anchored merely on elections, personalities, or political promises. Our hope is anchored on the reality that God remains the final authority over nations, economies, and leaders.

Meanwhile, we who are in business must continue doing our part faithfully. We continue building MSMEs.

We continue creating jobs. We continue serving customers honestly.

We continue helping families thrive and dream again.

We continue producing, innovating, teaching, and encouraging.

Because this is stewardship for the true Owner. And if leaders finally understood their responsibility before God, imagine what could happen to the Philippines.

MSMEs would grow and create high-paying jobs. Families would no longer be forced apart by overseas work. Filipino products would compete globally. Tourism and local industries would flourish. Craftsmanship and innovation would rise again. Provinces would become centers of thriving local enterprise. Instead of exporting raw materials, we would export world-class finished products proudly made by Filipinos.

The Philippines is already richly blessed by God. The problem has never been the lack of resources or talent. The problem is stewardship.

Too often, leadership becomes consumed by political maneuvering, public performance, and personal ambition instead of economic nation-building.

And instead of support, MSME's suffer red tape, confusing compliance requirements, high taxes, and harassment. But while waiting for change, we do not stop working. We continue faithfully because we know the Owner sees every act of obedience, every sacrifice, every honest effort to build and serve.

And someday, the Owner Himself will deal with those entrusted to lead. For those who used authority selfishly, that will be terrifying.

But for those who quietly labored, built honestly, and remained faithful despite hardship, it will be a joyful day.

To every entrepreneur, worker, and builder: do not lose heart. Continue doing faithfully what God entrusted to you. Build your business. Create value. Help people. Strengthen families. Serve with integrity. And remember this: the future of the Philippines does not ultimately rest in the hands of politicians. It rests in the hands of the Owner. And the Owner who knows everything always has the final say. And who knows, repentance might still come before judgment arrives.
